About Me

I decided to become a psychologist because I have always been interested in the nature of the human psyche.. My curiosity, kindness, flexibility, and scientific mindset guided me toward a profession that has evolved into my true passion.
I strongly believe in the idea that life is an ongoing learning journey. Therefore, I constantly enhance my skills through participation in numerous certified training sessions focused on clinical work. Additionally, I am currently enrolled in the cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy program at SWPS University.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in activities such as gardening, traveling, and pursuing various hobbies. One of my recent sources of happiness is taking up motorcycle riding.

My Way of Working

During the first session, we will get to know each other and discuss the topics that brought you to therapy. We will explore your motivation for change and undergoing therapy. Subsequently, I  will present a therapy plan, allowing you to decide whether you wish to proceed with the therapeutic process with me. Finally, we will define the goals of the therapy.
In my approach the client is always treated as the expert of their own mind. I will try to facilitate your positive change by integrating evidence-based cognitive-behavioral methods and "third wave" therapy methods - ACT or schema therapy. In the case of trauma, we will work with the EMDR protocol. Which methods we use will depend on your needs and your decision, because therapy is for you.

I also combine my clinical work with a scientific career, focusing on the subject of violence risk management. I am a co-author of scientific publications, e.g. Intelligence as a protective factor and risk factor for violence in a group of forensic psychiatric inpatients (2022) orIn search of the most important predictors of violence risk in a group of Polish patients in secure forensic psychiatry units ( 2021). Currently, together with the scientific team, I am working on the Polish implementation of the FAM tool for assessing the risk of violence in women and the SVR-20 tool for assessing the risk of violence in sexual offenders. I actively participate in both Polish and international scientific conferences, e.g: IAFMHS 2021 - Past, Present, and Future of Forensic Mental Health Services or Assessment of the risk of violence in a group of forensic psychiatry patients (SWPS University, 2021).
